What do I do if I'm stuck on the Loading Screen?

If you are experiencing errors when trying to start up Hempire, or if your game is continuously starting up in offline mode, this is generally the result of being unable to contact the server. In such cases:
  • Please check our social media to see if the Hempire server is currently down for maintenance.
  • Please check the app store to make sure you have the latest version of Hempire available.
  • Please double-check your wireless connection to make sure there are no issues or interference with your wireless signal.
  • Please double-check to make sure your device has enough hard drive space to download the new assets of the game.
  • Try starting the game again a bit later (disruptions to wireless signals can be temporary).
  • Try connecting your device to a different WiFi or wireless network to see if there is any change.
 
If you have recently updated your Hempire to a new version, then your device will need to download new asset packs from the server during the loading screen. For problems in such cases:
  • Ensure you on a strong WiFi connection.
  • Try leaving the game open on the loading screen for up to 15 minutes. Sometimes weak connections or mobile data connections will take longer to download the new assets.

Please include a detailed explanation of what is happening when you try to load the game, along with any error messages you are receiving.
