A player who finishes a Hempire Cup event in the top 3 will receive a Common Gem as part of their rewards. These gems are not added to the player’s standard game inventory but are instead stored as part of their Hempire Cup profile. When a player accumulates enough  Common Gems then the gems will automatically be expended and the player will advance up to the next tier of the Hempire Cup, at which point they will begin with zero Common Gems again. Players can continue to advance up the Hempire Cup tiers by collecting Common Gems from each event.

In the earlier tiers players will only need one Common Gem to advance to the next tier. As players rise into the more prestigious Hempire Cup tiers the game will begin to require two or even three Common Gems in order to advance.
