Hempire allows you to connect your game account to a Facebook account of your choosing. The game will provide this option the first time you try to access a building or feature of the game that interacts with other players (such as the Dispensary or City Hall Tasks), but you can also manually connect your game using the “Connect” button found in the Settings menu (gear icon).

While connecting to a Facebook account is entirely optional, there are several benefits for doing so! Connecting to Facebook will help safeguard your game data so that it can be restored in the event that your original game account is lost. This is particularly recommended as Hempire does not save game data to Google Play, Game Center, or Apple iCloud at this time.

You can restore your game data by connecting a new Hempire game account to the same Facebook account that you connected your previous game account to, and he game will prompt you with an option to restore your original account. If you don’t have Facebook, or don’t wish to use it, then you can keep a copy of your Hempire ID that is also displayed in the Settings menu (gear icon) and our Support team can use it to restore your game data as well.

In addition to backing up your game data, connecting to Facebook will also you to view the scores of any of your Facebook friends who also play Hempire and have connected their accounts! (iOS players will need to all accept the ATT prompt that appears in order to see each other).

Connecting to a Facebook account will automatically change your in-game profile image to the photo used by the Facebook account. It will also automatically change your username to the first name registered to the Facebook account, however if you would prefer to use a username of your choosing then you can contact our Support team and ask them to change it to something else for you!
